the girl at reception was super friendly and helpful, and the national breakfast was delicious with big portions. the hotel was clean, comfortable, and had great wifi. the family that runs it really cares about their guests and I felt safe staying there as a solo female traveler.

I recently stayed at Hotel Hoja De Oro in Puerto Jimenez for three nights. The staff was extremely welcoming and accommodating, and the modern and clean building exceeded my expectations. The shared kitchen and breakfast at a nearby soda were convenient, and I loved the cozy common space upstairs for getting work done. The wifi in the rooms was excellent for video calls, and the location was perfect, within walking distance of the pier and several recommended restaurants. I felt safe as a solo female traveler and would definitely stay here again.

The aircon was a lifesaver during the hot and humid Christmas season. We also appreciated the use of the downstairs kitchen for making tea and coffee. The location was key, with easy access to the bus terminal, tour meeting point, and a bakery/supermarket.

The noise from the busy street outside could be bothersome, even with the window closed. It would have been better to have paid for a better breakfast.

loved my stay at the cozy little hotel in puerto jimenez. the wonderful family running it went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. comfy room, great bathroom, and a well-equipped kitchen. amazing wifi! everything was super clean and had such a relaxed family atmosphere. would definitely stay again!

Noisy street.

The hotel is conveniently located just a few minutes' walk from the bus station and the property itself is beautiful. The modern rooms with air conditioning were a lifesaver after a long bus ride. the staff were very welcoming and accommodating, and the free Wi-Fi in the rooms made it easy to stay connected.

The noise at night, as the thin walls made it easy to hear the noisy people next door. The included breakfast served at a nearby restaurant was also a disappointment, as the food was not up to par.

The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome during our stay. They were always available to answer our questions and provide recommendations on nearby restaurants and attractions. the location of the hotel was excellent, being just a short walk away from the beach and within close proximity to various dining options. The convenience of having a shared kitchen was also a plus, allowing us to prepare our own meals when we wanted to.

There were some drawbacks to our experience. The parking situation was a bit tricky, and we had to make sure to inform the staff if we needed to leave early so that our car wouldn't be blocked.
